DRIVING DIRECTIONS
For
LAKESHORE CABIN
 
Note: We strongly urge you to come by
Interstate-81. Once you exit Interstate 81, we
recommend you follow these local directions.
Internet searches and GPS often take an indirect
route.
Also if you type in "Hiwassee, VA" without the
complete address, they take you away from the cabin.

From I-81 North
{Follow the Cecil's Chapel Methodist Church signs.
They are at every turn, once off of I -81}.
Take the Pulaski Exit, 94A, onto Rt. 99
(Count Pulaski Road)
. Cross the 4 lane.
Go left under the interstate. Turn left at the Stop
sign onto Old Route 100.
(GPS says Old route 110).
Take the next state road to the right onto Lowman's
Ferry (Rt. 672) ,after you go under the RR trestle.
Stay on this road until you cross Lowman's Ferry
Bridge. (Shop EEz is on the right just before
crossing.)
At the next Stop sign, take a left onto Lead Mine
Rd. (693).
Watch for Windy Hill Stained Glass Studio on the
right.
Then take a sharp left onto Cecil's Chapel Rd (669)
at the top of the hill.
Go for
approximately 1 1/2 mile
and turn left onto McCarthy. You will end in a
cul-de-sac at the lake and Lakeshore Cabin is on the
right. You may park on the street or turn up the
hill into the driveway.
From I-81 South
{Follow the Cecil's Chapel Methodist Church signs.

(locals) From Route 8, Christiansburg, VA
Route 8 to Aly's Pizza.
Turn left
onto Rt. 693. Childress Road.
Bear left across the Snowville Bridge (still 693).
You will pass Snowville Elementary School.
Stay on that road until you see Cecil's Chapel Road
(669). Take a right.
Go for
approximately 1 1/2 mile
and turn left onto McCarthy. You will end in a
cul-de-sac at the lake and Lakeshore Cabin is on the
right. You may park on the street or turn up the
hill into the driveway.
