Advance Reservations

• Even though we request reservations to be made 30 days in advance, please feel free to contact us at any time to see if there is a vacancy.

Pet Policy {Please read more on our Dog Owners policy}

• Dog friendly for well behaved dogs ($30.00 fee for max. of 2)

• Pulaski County has a leash law

• Must keep on leash when outside and must not be left alone unless crated

• There are other dogs in the neighborhood. We cannot be responsible for their behavior.

• Crate available on request

• Pets are not allowed in the pond, on the furniture or beds.

Housekeeping

This is a "housekeeping residence" so we ask that you leave the lodge the way it was when you entered. This means that you are expected to clean up after yourself. This keeps us from having to charge a cleaning fee.

Clean as you would clean your own house when preparing for overnight guests. Cleaners are provided. If there is still unusual cleaning after you "clean" we may still charge the cleaning fee, depending on how long it takes to return the property to optimal rental condition.

If you prefer not to clean, please notify us and we will clean after your stay and your credit card will be billed a $55-$65 cleaning fee, depending on number of guests. You are still responsible for stripping the beds, emptying the trash, starting the dishes and the towels. All this is listed on the fridge as "check-out procedures" and will be discussed in detail when you call to make your reservation. If you opt to clean, we still remake the beds and mop the floors for you

If you clean, please:

• Dust, sweep and vacuum.

• Clean the bathrooms and tubs.

• We will do the mopping.

• Wipe out appliances.

• Beds do not have to be made, but linens should be washing as you leave.

• Please start washing a load of dishes.

• Do not overload appliances.

• Place all trash in the trash can and close lid tightly.

• Sweep the porch if needed.

• Please lock all doors and close the windows.

• Return thermostat to 70 in summer, 68 in winter.

 Grounds

Please inspect the yard, porch and gazebo areas before you leave to be sure any trash has been picked up, fire pit area is cleaned and yard toys are put away.

Other Restrictions

• No smoking inside.

• Explosive fireworks are illegal in VA.

• No loud house parties.

• No parking or driving on the grass without direction.

• Do not block the driveways.

• Do not disturb the pond environment as it could kill the fish.
